Dealership Update:
Let me take a moment to announce that I have returned to Morrie’s Subaru. This move allows me the ability to focus strictly on my core brand, Subaru.
It also gives me a much broader
selection of new, used and certified Subaru inventory to offer you.
What’s Online:
Subenet’s feedback form.
The new ad agency for Subaru is the Twin Cities
own Carmichael Lynch. They would love to know why
you chose a Subaru and what you think about the
carline. The direct link to submit your comments is
found here: www.subaru.net/owners/ forms/whyfeedback.php
On Subaru.net are two forms for you to submit
your opinions. The queries change periodically. The
results are sent to a small group of Subaru project
managers at FHI in Japan. Your comments and
suggestions go directly to the folks who design your cars. and our future ad campaigns.
Rally Racing Update:
The first race of the season will be the Sno*drift Rally in Atlanta, MI. Sno*drift is a particularly difficult venue.
We are not allowed to use studded tires, which makes
traction in the snow and ice wildly unpredictable. In last year’s race, Lauchlin and I entered a heavily rutted section, blasting down a long strait at 104 mph. Bouncing out of a rut at that velocity, we started drifting to the side. At such a moment one realizes that he is very close to becoming an unguided
projectile hurtling into the trees. Unnerving to say the least, such are the moments that characterize the event.
The 2009 Forester is coming..
The 3rd generation 2009
Forester was released in
Japan on the 24th of
December and will make it’s
American debut at the
Detroit Auto show in
January. The new Forester
will be bigger and beefier
than the present generation.
It will share interior styling
cues from the Tribeca and
Impreza. Vehicle Dynamics
Control (VDC) is standard on
all versions and navigation
will be offered on higher
trim levels.
