The Forester is a vehicle that is capable of any trail you can throw at it. You can basically drive it off the lot and up a mountain and have nothing to worry about you on your journey to the apex.
Subaru didn’t just slap on a badge and call it a day. The 2026 Forester Wilderness gets its own unique front and rear bumpers, matte-black cladding, and copper badging. Ground clearance is now a beefy 9.3 inches, and it rides on 17-inch matte black wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. And yeah it looks tough because Subaru’s leaning into that overlanding aesthetic, and for folks who spend weekends on the trail or at the campsite, will benefit from the new LED fog lights, 180 degree front view monitor, and Wilderness-specific dual function X-Mode system while on their adventures.
