Subaru appears to be doubling down on its investment in performance models, but like so many other automakers, it’s not ready to fully commit to electrification. Today, Subaru revealed two new STI concept cars at the Tokyo auto show. Notably, both of them are hatchbacks, and one of them is the first STI-spec EV. Meanwhile, the other sticks to Subaru’s roots with a four-cylinder boxer engine. The electric model is called the Performance-E STI concept, while the gas-powered variant is called the Performance-B STI concept.
