While other manufacturers have taken auto electrification seriously, Subaru has been pretty slow to jump on the EV bandwagon. The automaker has a hybrid version of the Crosstrek, and that’s about it. The 2023 Subaru Solterra will be the carmaker’s first all-electric car. Considering that most manufacturers already have standard EV lineups, we can say that Subaru is lagging in this category. The 2023 Solterra is a collaboration between Subaru and Toyota. Both Japanese manufacturers partnered to build the SUV, and Toyota is marketing their variant as the Toyota bZ4X.
