2025 Subaru WRX Lineup Gets Smaller, Making Its Base Price Bigger

Subaru is saying goodbye to the base-model WRX for 2025. The automaker said the decision is due to a low take rate, with the majority of buyers opting for the next-level Premium trim. That makes it the new entry point into Subie’s sport-compact sedan, which now starts at $36,920. That’s $1165 more than last year’s version, and it’s also $3065 more than the least expensive WRX previously was.
