So often when we report on model year pricing, we see the numbers tick up, only becoming more affordable with the introduction of a new entry-level trim. Well, here’s some good news: Not only is Subaru reintroducing the Base trim for the 2026 WRX, bringing the WRX starting price down to $33,690, but every returning trim offered is seeing a price reduction– and relatively substantial ones at that.
The Premium grade, for example, sees its MSRP drop $3,755, bringing the total to $35,190 with destination. The Premium builds upon the Base with heated front seats, heated mirrors and a wiper deicer, LED fog lights, and a rear spoiler, among other creature comforts. The Base model, like in 2024, comes standard with Subaru’s tablet-style 11.6-inch touchscreen; however, it now packages keyless access with push-button start and 18-inch wheels, previously unavailable options for this grade.
