Monster World Rally Team’s Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino successfully nabbed their 6th consecutive overall win at Rally America’s Rally in the 100 Acre Wood in Salem, MO last weekend. For the first time in its history, Subaru has beaten out all other automakers to earn the top score from Consumer Reports for its 2012 models. Driven by what Consumer Reports called a “wave of impressive redesigned models in the last few years,” Subaru, which has its U.S. headquarters on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, earned the top score in the magazine’s report cards for 13 major automakers. Rally racing in Steelville was enjoyed by large crowds who came out to see the cars and drivers up close at the Parc Exposé and on the roads throughout the area as they raced through the region.
