Subaru of America, Inc. has announced the official sponsorship of sportslifestyle brand PUMA for the Subaru PUMA RallyCross Team. As part of the multi-year sponsorship agreement with Subaru, PUMA becomes the official supplier of team and racewear and an exclusive licensing partner to the team for footwear and apparel. Pre Event Blog Post #2 At the Oregon Trail rally it’s typically about the roads. The roads here are spectacular. I love three, four, even five day events, three hundred miles worth of stages, I’m there. Give me 25 mile stages. The Global Rallycross Championship is one of our favorite new forms of motorsport (new to the U.S., anyway), with motocross-like racing for some incredibly fierce rally-bred cars. Subaru has been trying to figure out the direction for its three-headed monster, as the Impreza and its WRX and WRX STI variants have grown increasingly at odds over the past two generations. Now this gets thrown into the mix: When the new WRX gets released in late 2013, it may ditch the traditional exhaust-gas powered turbocharger for a new, electric design. Read More →

Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce its highest ever year-to-date sales with 9,321 units sold in 2012, an increase of 2.2 percent over the previous year.
