One of Subaru’s forgotten limited editions is now up for sale in Hong Kong. This über-low mileage 1999 Subaru Impreza RB5 WR Sport has been listed for HK$728,000 (US$93,900) at a performance car specialist in the former crown colony. Right now, Subaru is all about efficiency and safety. They’re like the Japanese Volvo, and as of this year, almost every car they sell should have the EyeSight driver assistance package. Thus, the STI badge has almost nothing to do with the core of the brand, which is a shame considering how cool a new performance Forester would be. Read More →

ubaru and Toyota may be joining forces on an all-wheel-drive hot hatch that throws it back to both companies’ dominant nineties rally cars, Autoblog reports. It’s a pretty wild report that first surfaced in Japan’s Best Car magazine, but look, we’re here for it. Is this the real Toyota hot hatch that America was promised? Could this be why Toyota keeps re-upping the patent on the Celica name? We have so many questions. Per Best… Read More →

The Gymkhana 2020 video hasn’t only presented us with some of the most extreme stunts ever seen, it also gave us the wildest Subaru STI ever built. For some change, Ken Block who rose to prominence years back through the Gymkhana videos left the wheel for another amazing driver and friend, Travis Pastrana. Gymkhana 2020 marks a return to Subaru, as Fords have dominated the series since Gymkhana 3. Furthermore, having stolen all the headlines… Read More →
