Apparently, and much to my surprise, people are kind of mad at Subaru and the new 2022 Subaru WRX. What they’re mad about is even more puzzling. Subaru of America says its sales fell 40 percent in October from year-earlier levels, reflecting the continued impact of supply-chain shortages. The downturn left year-to-date sales virtually flat with the same period in 2020, the Camden car distributor said. “Subaru, like the rest of the auto industry, faces a severe shortage of semiconductor chips and other key components,” Thomas Doll, the firm’s president and CEO, said in a statement Tuesday. Subaru Park is now the first Major League Soccer stadium to have reached Zero Landfill status. It has placed more than 100 containers around the park where visitors can separate their waste. Zero Landfill means that absolutely nothing from Subaru Park goes into a landfill, no waste of any kind. The stadium says it will divert more than 350,000 lbs. of trash each year. Read More →

Subaru of America, Inc. today reported 36,817 vehicle sales for October 2021, a 40 percent decrease compared with record October 2020 (61,411) as Subaru continues to face supply chain shortages.
