Subaru for the second time in four years led Consumer Reports’ annual brand report card as domestic automakers struggled in a ranking that measures factors including vehicle performance, safety and reliability. Subaru is saying goodbye to the base-model WRX for 2025. The automaker said the decision is due to a low take rate, with the majority of buyers opting for the next-level Premium trim.
