The Subaru Ascent is nearly a decade old and the model hasn’t changed much since a facelift was introduced for 2023. As a result, consumers have turned their backs on the aging three-row crossover. Jari-Matti Latvala will make his maiden appearance in the American Rally Association National Championship with an outing at the Olympus Rally next month. The Toyota World Rally Championship team principal announced plans to pilot a second factory-backed Toyota GR Corolla Rally RC2 car at the Washington-based gravel rally held from 17-19 April. Subaru is doubling down on its Wilderness subbrand by bringing a hybrid model into the fold. The 2027 Forester Wilderness Hybrid is the first electrified model to wear the Wilderness badge, and we suspect it won’t be the last. Why?
