Second-shift production at Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc. was delayed Wednesday so that associates and executives could admire a blue, 2014 Subaru Outback, the 4 millionth vehicle produced at the Lafayette plant, which opened in 1989. The BRZ’s appearance gives little indication it would succeed on road trips. Defending Rally America Champion David Higgins overcame both extraordinary and unexpected adversity at the Ojibwe Forests Rally to finish 2nd Overall in his 2013 Subaru WRX STI.
