The latest news to leak out of Subaru is as red hot as it is shocking. We recently discovered that the Subaru Advanced Tourer Concept, shown at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, is actually a preview of the upcoming WRX, not the Legacy sedan. Although the next-generation WRX and WRX STI will ride on a heavily modified version of the Impreza’s platform, the future sports cars — a rendering of what they might look like — won’t use the Impreza name.
