Subaru earns Consumer Reports’ top spot for first time

For the first time in its history, Subaru has beaten out all other automakers to earn the top score from Consumer Reports for its 2012 models. Large crowd enjoys rally in Steelville

Rally racing in Steelville was enjoyed by large crowds who came out to see the cars and drivers up close at the Parc Exposé and on the roads throughout the area as they raced through the region. Ken Block, along with Monster World Rally Team member Alex Gelsomino, took his sixth Rally in the 100 Acre Wood title in the races held on February 24-25 in Steelville and the surrounding area. Subaru is walking away from minicars. According to, parent company Fuji Heavy Industries is looking to concentrate its efforts small and mid-sized vehicles moving forward. While Japan still enjoys a thriving kei car market, the vehicles aren’t as profitable as their larger counterparts and require the same level of engineering commitment.
