Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) today reported 12 consecutive months of increased sales with 50,389 vehicles sold for July 2023, a 21 percent increase compared with July 2022 (41,536). A new three-row Subaru electric SUV is expected to hit the market in the next few years. Toyota will build the EV at its manufacturing facility in Georgetown, Kentucky. Panasonic Holdings has started considering providing electric vehicle batteries to Subaru, the Nikkei reported on Friday. The two companies are soon expected to announce the plan to ink a basic supply agreement of EV batteries, the report said. The performance-oriented tS trim level is returning to the Subaru BRZ lineup for the rear-wheel-drive sports coupe’s second generation. The Australian Rally Championship (ARC) is currently seeking expressions of interest for competitors to enter an all-new Subaru WRX Challenge class, which is slated for kick-off in 2024.
