The all-new Subaru Impreza and the new-generation Subaru XV have been handed top safety scores by the Japanese crash test authority – JNCAP.
Confirmed this afternoon, the Impreza, which already carries a five-star safety score in Australia and the soon to arrive new XV (details here), won JNCAP 2016-2017 Grand Prix Awards.
The Subaru vehicles scored the highest score ever recorded in Japan.
Applauded for both crashworthiness and pedestrian protection, the Impreza/XV also picked up points for having a pedestrian protection airbag as standard (in Japan).
