In automotive industry terms, Subaru isn’t a large company and a long way from the ten largest manufacturers in the world. Subaru takes a different, and often quirky, approach to building cars and has sustained and grown its car-making business through a dedicated core of buyers. Those vehicles are mainly sensible and practical vehicles utilizing Subaru’s all-wheel-drive system and boxer engines, the exception being the more powerful Impreza models based on the successful rallying crusaders. By knowing its customers and doing things differently, Subaru has just sold its 10 millionth vehicle in the US.
