This is the Subaru XV, a brand new “crossover” vehicle from the company that effectively invented the sector back in 1995 with the Outback. This is one of the fastest growing areas of the car market, and rivals range from the Ford Kuga to the Audi Q3, via the Kia Sportage and the forthcoming Mazda CX-5.
