Less choice doesn’t always have to be a bad thing, especially if something better comes out of the consolidation. That might be what Subaru was thinking when it launched the sixth-generation Impreza for 2024. The company has streamlined its compact-car lineup from four trims to three, and all Imprezas are now cargo-friendly hatchbacks; the sedan has been retired.
