The Lake Superior Performance Rally (LSPR) is coming to Upper Michigan this weekend, with some changes this year.
That includes a new route and a downtown celebration to cap off the event. Also this year, the Parc Expose will take place on Thursday evening at Fox Marquette Subaru, instead of Friday morning as in previous years.
That offers fans the opportunity to view the cars and chat with competitors, sponsors and vendors. The change in routes this year keeps the competition fresh.
“We always want to make sure we’re offering different challenges to competitors. We have some roads that everybody absolutely loves. There are some stages this year that we’re going to get a hard time we’re not including on the route this year but, fear not, they’ll be back, and the idea is, we want to have four or five different loops of stages so that every year we can offer something different to competitors,” LSPR Chief of Media/Marketing Chris Heikkuri said.
