Pick-up trucks are what keep America moving. Whether they are hauling haybales or livestock, tools or jet skis, these utilitarian machines are the modern day equivalent of the coach and horses. With myriad options, from gas V8s to torquey diesels that could pull a tree out of the ground, there is a pick-up for everyone. Every now and again, however, someone tries to slightly reinvent the pick-up formula – and it doesn’t always work – but generally the recipe stays the same. You get a hard-working cab (luxury is optional) and a big ‘ol truck bed out the back that you don’t mind scratching when it comes to hauling fenceposts.
