Subaru announced the 2016 WRX is now a IIHS 2016 TOP SAFETY PICK+ (TSP+), along with receiving the highest possible rating of “Good” for five crashworthiness tests as well as “Superior” for front crash prevention. The Subura Outback has been named as a Top Safety Pick+ by the US-based Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), due in no small part to the EyeSight system which is fitted to all UK spec models with the Lineartronic CVT gearbox.
