JRM Racing has signed leading Prodrive engineer Paul Eastman to lead its advanced engineering department as it works towards a Mini World Rallycross programme. Subaru has been making boxer engines in one form or another since 1966, and it recently hit a major milestone. The new 2015 Subaru Outback wagon is the hottest car in the brands lineup and now it’s launching in Europe. The new-generation SUV-alternative Outback is flying off dealer lots in North America and supply is extremely limited. Fuji Heavy Industries is manufacturing the cars at the Indiana plant in the U.S. and capacity won’t be increased until 2016. Subaru’s plucky line of four-wheel drive cars has been racking up impressive sales numbers against bigger, more formidable competitors.
