The annual Oregon Trail Rally will once again put on a show on Friday evening, May 17 at Portland International Raceway. The event is part of the American Rally Association’s national championship series, and continues for the weekend with events in Maryhill, Washington on Saturday and in Dufur, Oregon on Sunday.
Over 65 teams from all over North America will converge on Portland for three days of competition, starting with special spectator stages held on the track and grounds at PIR. Among the competing teams is well-known past national champion Travis Pastrana, who will be back in his trademark Subaru WRX bearing number 199. Pastrana and co-driver Rhianon Gelsomino are currently sitting in second place in the ARA championship, trailing their teammates and defending 2023 champions Brandon Semenuk and Keaton Williams in the number 1 Subaru WRX.
