The all-electric 2027 Subaru Trailseeker has been named Car of the Year in the 2027 TopGear.com U.S. Car Awards, Subaru of America announced Oct. 29. TopGear.com editors picked the SUV from new or significantly updated models from multiple automakers, citing its versatility, capability and on- and off-road performance, according to the company.
The Trailseeker uses dual electric motors with 375 combined horsepower, and the company reports a 0-to-60-mph time of 4.4 seconds. Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, along with X-MODE and 8.5 inches of ground clearance, equips it for off-road use, according to Subaru.
